Delivery and Returns.
A flat delivery charge of £5 is added to each order, unless otherwise stated. Some of our heavier/fragile items carry an additional delivery charge. If this applies to your order, we will contact you to let you know the additional charge prior to sending you the order. We aim to despatch all orders within 5 working days of receipt, subject to stock availability. Unless otherwise stated, all orders will be sent by Royal Mail.
Upon arrival of your delivery, please check for damaged goods or missing items. If anything is missing or damaged, please let us know within 3 days of receiving your order.
We want you to be delighted with anything you buy from The Chocolate Elephant. If however you are not satisfied with your order for any reason, please contact us. You will receive a replacement or if you prefer, a full refund upon return of the goods, subject to them being returned in their original packaging and in new condition. Carriage charges for returned goods will not be refunded, except in cases where goods have arrived damaged or in error. Please obtain a certificate of posting (available free from the Post Office) when returning unwanted goods to us.

Cancellation
You are entitled to cancel your order for any reason within seven working days of receiving the goods. If you wish to cancel the order prior to despatch please email us at sales@thechocolateelephant.com. If you have already received the order please follow the above Delivery and Returns information.
Privacy Notice
Your personal details are collected during the ordering process so that your order may be sent to you. Any information collected is held by The Chocolate Elephant for the purpose of processing your order only, and for our own marketing purposes. Please be assured that The Chocolate Elephant will never pass your details on to any third parties.
Payment and Security
We accept all major credit/debit cards. Credit cards are processed by a secure encrypted third party processor (www.protx.com), guaranteeing you security and convenience. The Chocolate Elephant does not have access to any of your credit card details. These are held by the credit card authority for billing purposes only.
Pricing
All prices quoted are in £ Sterling and are inclusive of VAT. The Chocolate Elephant has included a currency convertor for informational purposes only. If you choose to use the currency convertor, please note that it is not an indication of the actual price you will be charged if you use a dollar or euro denominated credit card as payment. This price is determined by your credit card company using exchange rates prevailing at the time of purchase.
The Chocolate Elephant reserves the right to change prices without prior notice owing to supplier price changes.
Portrayal of Products
Whilst every effort has been made to portray products correctly, slight variations may occur. All measurements quoted by us are approximate and the reproduction of colours is only as accurate as photographic and publishing processes will allow.

At the time of ordering please fill in your full delivery address along with a current contact phone number to help us with any delivery or payment issues.
Stock Availability
We will endeavour to maintain stock of all items listed on our website. If however, an item is temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of the delay and, if you are willing to wait for the item, despatch it as soon as it arrives.
Complaints
All complaints will be dealt with promptly, courteously and professionally, either via email or telephone. We aim to resolve all matters within five working days.
