Delivery Policy:

A delivery charge will be added to your order. We will make every effort to ensure your purchase gets to you fast, safely and in the most cost effective way possible. We offer a standard delivery service via Royal Mail (within 7 working days) - our postage rate is fixed at £4.95 per order. Your order will be packed and dispatched provided we have available stock, the address has been checked and payment approved. Orders can be delivered to either business or residential addresses, however packages may require a signature on receipt of delivery. If the delivery address is unattended a note will be left to indicate a delivery is waiting for you, however this may not always be the case. The Chocolate Elephant cannot take responsibility if a notification card is not left in any instance.

Cancellation Policy:

Once the order has been processed you have the right to cancel the order up to the point of despatch, we recommend letting us know within 24hrs to ensure cancellation. Please send contact us with details of your order including the reference code. We will get back to you with 48hours to confirm the cancellation, any payments made by you will be refunded within 30 days.

Refunds / Returns Policy:

If you are, for some reason, unhappy with your purchase we can offer a refund within 7 days of delivery. We require that you return the new and unused goods to us with all the original labeling attached. We ask that you let us know as soon as possible by emailing info@thechocolateelephant.com with the order details including reference code. When returning goods tous, we recommend using a registered service as we cannot take responsibility for items lost in transit. When the item arrives back with us we will credit your card with the full retail amount within 30 days. Unfortunately we cannot refund postage costs unless the item is faulty. Please note: If we receive your return in a condition which we feel is not fit for exchange or refund we shall get in touch with you to discuss proceedings. The Chocolate Elephant reserves the right to refuse a return or exchange for any item sent back in a condition where the item has been used or damaged. Only Items which The Chocolate Elephant can confirm as new and unused will be eligible for a return or exchange, outlined above and within the 7 days time limit.(unless otherwise organised). We will not accept returns or exchange goods for any non-faulty items that have been worn, washed and/or with tags removed.

If your credit/debit card is used fraudulently as a direct result of being used to buy from our site, then we will assume liability for the first £50 of your loss. Your credit card company is obligated to take responsibility for the rest. We aim to hold stock of all styles and sizes whilst a product is active. However, occasionally an item will be out of stock and if this is the case we will call will inform you as soon as we can to and offer you a refund or suggest an alternative. All dates quoted for delivery are estimated delivery dates only and may be subject to change and we can accept no liability for any loss or damage (whether direct or indirect) for delivery at any time other than the estimated date for delivery

Currently at The Chocolate Elephant we are only operating within the UK in £’s sterling. Payment and taxes We accept online payment in a secure environment by credit card or debit card. We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Maestro, Solo & Amercian Express. Conformity of goods We have made every possible effort to ensure that the description and specification of items on our shop website are correct at the time of going to press. However, while the colour reproduction of the products is a close representation, we cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used by you.

The Chocolate Elephant does not seek to exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury arising from its negligence or that of its members, agents, directors or employees or for any fraudulent misrepresentation.
