INTRODUCTION
The Chocolate Elephant was started in January 2006 by two sisters, Emma Harrison and Victoria Nielson. Their aim was to build a hugely successful retail business, which has at its heart, a single-minded focus on ethical trading, sustainable and beautiful gifts and clothing and the making of contributions to charity.
The Chocolate Elephant sells at various charity fairs, event fairs and investment banking fairs and the forthcoming Christmas gift and charity public fairs that they are exhibiting at during 2008 are listed below.

The Chocolate Elephant’s gift collection for 2008 includes handcrafted silver plate and polymer resin tableware from South Africa in a stunning array of designs. To complement many of these we have created a delightful range of organic table linens from Zimbabwe. We also have coconut wood belts and jewellery from Indonesia, ceramic beads from Kenya and bone necklaces from India. We have recently added to our collection in 2008, our own label silk satin pyjamas and slippers, cotton embroidered nightdresses, incredibly soft hibiscus flower and soya bean shawls, velvet bags, sheepskin bags and belts.
We have an amazing array of handmade or hand-finished clothes from Indonesia, South America, Europe and India which are made from traditional organic or sustainable textiles, are ethically traded and support local artisans around the world. This spring, we launched our own exclusive range of clothing - a range consisting of softly structured knitwear made of natural and sustainable soya bean and hibiscus flower, fine wool trousers and silk georgette shirts all in feminine and classical shapes and organic colours.
All The Chocolate Elephant products are beautifully made, are reasonably priced and have a great philanthropic or community story.
